oh to live this...

"...the faith that surmounts the evidence and is able to warm itself at the fire of God's love, instead of having to steal love and self-acceptance from other sources, is actually the root of holiness..."

1 Peter 2:15

"For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant
talk of foolish men."

Song lyrics that I love.....

"Rid me of myself, I belong to you....lead me to the cross"
"Your Name brings life more than the air I breathe"
"You make everything glorious and I am Yours.....what does that make me?"

Happy Weekend

Well, well, well....after eating at lesser wonderful places in Ocala...trying to recreate the ambiance of "Green Tea" in Asheville...ok, not the ambiance...just the great taste of the Sushi....we found it...."Sushi Bistro" of Ocala...sounds finer than it is...BUT...the Sushi is fresh and it is GOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!
It was our waitress's first nite...so we had to tell her what was good...We found edamame, seaweed salad and some items on the menu that we love!!!! Eel, shrimp tempura, eel sauce, california roll (for Marc, poor baby...can't take anything "wierd or raw" he says.), salmon, tuna, asparagus, etc., etc.....my tastebuds are just so happy (say that while singing in a high pitch voice and hold out the word happpyyyyyyy)! :)
That was Friday Nite...

Saturday, Marc played in a golf tournament...and his 4-some won...the whole thing...got this spiffy looking trophy...Reads: 4th Annual Golf Scramble...MRMC Foundation...(i.e. fundraiser for the Hospital)...then later was coctails, dinner and Casino Nite...at DelWebb Spruce Creek Country Club....sounds better than it is....but the fountain at the entrance was fun looking!....we opted out of Casino Nite...we had another date at this very swanky place called "Dinnerbell's"...to meet up with Marc's Aunt Josie from TN and her friend,"Pat" plus Ira, Patti, Jayme & Joey....Dinnerbell's (I'm told) is famous for it's GIANT Prawns (shrimp)...and spinach pancakes...(Joey, 6, asked for syrup...ewww) they were both really good...but then again...we had just had dinner!!!

Then.....today...Sunday...the temps finally climbed out of the "freeze us to death" mode"..and Ollie and I ventured out to the back yard....after lunch at "Darryls"....costs about $6/person...if that tells you anything....
Lu came outside too, but we didn't capture him on the camera phone...Soooooo...this weekend was filled with "interesting" food and "interesting" fun....and now it is over....:(
