I'm not complaining

ok...just have to post this....every time I miss my NC house and NC friends I go into the kitchen...and look outside...this is my view from the sink....and I am ok...I can make a call...and we can still make visits...here...it is never too cold! Ok, I'm better now.

Ok....we've sworn OFF sugar...but it's just so hard....this little brown "mass" with the spoon is what we call "the brownie"...it's a brownie mix, with added choco chips AND choco icing.....a little burnt on the bottom so it's crunchy. Whitney makes them...they are our drug of choice. No one ever gets a plate and has one...the spoon just lives in the pan...the pan just lives on the counter....ahhhh, every time I eat "some" I SWEAR to myself I'm never ever going to eat them again...they ARE the devil.....couple hours later...there I am again...spooning up another mouthful....argh!....To make matters worse...the sugar cookie mix along with icing is just WAITING WAITING to be baked...BUT....we've sworn off sugar...after the brownie is gone....argh!

We've moved...this is our pool...it's so fabulous...screened in...so there are never any bugs....every day...bc we are in Florida....it rains around 1 PM....I am NEVER ready to lay out until 1 PM...bc of errands or visit to the Y (yes, finally fitting that back into my life)...so I usually get about oh, 10 min of sun...then the clouds come...agh! I did do water aerobics in there today...by myself....so gay.

This is Whitney cleaning the pool...I put my palm plants out there and with a big wind gust one of them blew over...all the dirt went IN the pool....not good....I think it's a good thing to vacuum a pool...you can tan while you work...

Today was Whitney's first day of "college"....dual enrolled at CF....taking Freshman English...it's free in FL while you are still in HS.....gotta love the gov't...free free free free...well, except for those OUT OF CONTROL property taxes we pay....
OH....and of course...the "teal truck" was parked right in front of us....of course!

moved out of the "unit"...yep...this "for rent sign" is just plain eye candy.....finally went to NC and got ALLLLLLLL our furniture and belongings and "stuffed" them into our new house...this pic is a "ode to the unit" last pic.....the Miller's no longer have to share the ONE love seat....seating in the living room for 3...and there are 4 of us...the longest 2 years of my ENTIRE life....over! Hooray...thank you Jesus!

We've been testing the "trailer trash" waters....first Marc rented this lovely red "van" for our drive from FL to IN to NC to FL.....yep...red van....so we top off the whole white trash look by strapping Whitney's new mattress onto the TOP and DRIVING cross town..ahhhhhhh, so incredibly embarrassing...but the look on the guard's face at the entrance to the Country Club....priceless!....Beverly Hillbillies have arrived on SE 12th Circle....Co. CLub living at it's finest..hahahhahaha...but look at the cutest, well 1 of 2 cutest pups on earth all snuggle up on another mattress....Little Lucy who has now been dubbed "goose"....so tute!!.

BUT............these pics take the cake...while I am sweating sweating sweating and working working working....moving....my friends send me these pics...yep, they are at the "wedding of the century" in Ashevegas...where every single person I know and love in NC is in attendance....but I am not there....so they send me treasure pics.....good thing I love them very much.

The End...ok, not the end...I have wedding pics to post of the OTHER wedding i DID attend....but I can't bc Whit has downloaded them to HER photo folder and I can't figure out how to get them over here....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....another day I guess....it's something to look forward to. Right now, there are a million things to put away in the new house...I'm going outside....to plant things....bye!
