Fat Lu

ok, I can't stop...I'm on a roll....our cat "Fat Lu" ...we call him that because his favorite pastime is eating...he is the Alpha Dog in our home. When we leave him on his "self feeder" and go on vacation...he eats 3x what he normally eats while we are home....oh, fat lu.

Well, this morning when I opened the blinds in the LR I saw that he had been locked out all nite on the sunporch...his favorite place to sleep during the day...he had been there since yesterday morning....when it is nice outside that door stays open all day then we close it up once the sun goes down and it gets too cool...guess we forgot to let him in...when I did, he didn't head for the door to go out to the bathroom...nope, he headed into the kitchen to have...of course, breakfast......THEN he went outside....oh, crazy Fat Lu! Gotta love him!

SHOOOOOOOOOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.....A.D.D. is in full swing today....

I was sitting at the table finishing up my Bible Study when I noticed the cords to the computer were all tangly so I got up to wind them up and put them back in their rightful places...upon closer inspection I could see all the "dust bunnies" on the floor where the cords had been so I went to the laundry room to get the "swiffer"..while in there I saw that the clothes in the washer were finished so I changed them to the dryer and realized I needed to add another load of "darks"...so I opened the washer, added the soap and then saw the light bulb box...remembering that my night stand lamp had gone out this am so I grabbed the light bulb, then I saw the "wheel cleaner" and remembered tomorrow we leave for Orlando for a vb tournament and it would be nice if the car was clean...so I grabbed that, the 'swiffer' and a 'swiffer sheet' and while walking carrying all 4 items I headed to get the rest of the 'darks' then decided wow...this is crazy I need to write this down so I put everything down to type on the blog.....zzzzit, zzzzzit, zzzzzit....I now hear the washer spinning without anything in it......argh...life and times of this Florida housewife....by the way, I'm still in my jammies and late getting to the Y so now I will have to rush because I also have a lunch date and I'm not sure I have the right directons so I need to look that up as well....in a minute.......because I just remembered taking a picture yesterday of my "uniform"...why do I love clothes sooooooooooooooooooooo much...but always default to a "uniform" when I am at home? I should stop buying "beautiful" clothes and just invest in alot of sweat pants and long sleeve t-shirts....maybe my family could see something new....Marc took me to lunch yesterday and I was dressed up...poor guy, nearly had a coronary...couldn't stop telling me how great I looked....guess the workout clothes are starting to wear on him...hahahaha... ok ok I'm going.........gotta go put on some workout clothes ahhhhhh hahahahhahahah.

Christmas...

Merry Christmas....Happy New Year 2010!!!!!!

Christmas in NC brought snow....we played in it....then promptly left.....snow is fun to play in...not LIVE in...thank you God for Florida!!

I realized most of the Christmas pictures are not on my camera (which the girls refer to as the"brick" bc it's so bulky (vs their slimlines....so what?!) so I have no pics of Adrianne's infamous 21st birthday...and not many of Christmas.....

but I have some....here's where Whitney spent alot of her NC Christmas...and Ollie too...trying to stay warm...

I never tire of t his landscape...I'm just glad I don't see it everyday anymore....love the wide-open, flatscape of FLO-rida!!

Before we headed out....had to listen to my favorite tenor do his thing on the stage at FBCO....nothing like an old fashion Christmas concert!! Woohoo!!

Christmas was blurry this year....Adah came home...we celebrated her b-day at Universal with her beau "Tye" and Whit's beau "Donavan"....Christmas Concert on the Square, Christmas concert at FBCO, drive to NC house, see friends, 15"snow, build snowmen, ski, sled, open presents, shop some more, drive to IN, have Christmas with family (27 total, I think), drive to TN to visit more family and get stuck on a closed freeway....opt OUT of TN, drive to Atlanta, spend the nite WITH the dog, drive back to FL...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, take down tree at home, take down treeS at Church, everyone gets sick.....recover....New Years Eve...recover...everyone back at School and work.....zzzzz!
